Listen to Woman's Hour: The TERF Report

Welcome to Woman’s Hour: The TERF Report. In this episode, I talk about a recent New York Times article titled “Trump and Republicans Bet Big on Anti-Trans Ads Across the Country” and subtitled “Republicans have spent tens of millions of dollars on the ads, part of an attempt to help them win over suburban female voters.”

In the episode, I read the article in its entirety because it’s well worth a listen, and I’m betting many listeners don’t subscribe to the New York Times.

After reading it, I submitted a comment on the article and, to my surprise, the Times approved it for publication. This is the comment, which you can “recommend” here, if you’d like:

This is exactly why, in 2023, I published a book called "The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls." Radical feminists like me have been warning the Democrats that this would happen for years. In 2019, a lesbian radical feminist explained the leftist critique of "gender identity" to the House Judiciary Committee. In 2021, I submitted written testimony on the same topic to the Senate Judiciary Committee and received written confirmation of receipt. In August of this year, I published an open letter to Harris, asking her to say out loud at the DNC that a woman is an adult human female. I could provide countless other examples of leftist women (mostly Democrats) explaining this to party leadership in no uncertain terms. I hear from rank and file Democrats every day who are furious with their party leaders for sacrificing women and girls at the altar of "trans." They are angry about men in women's sports and even angrier about men being housed in women's prisons. They are angry that Democrats promote laws and policies that allow men into women's restrooms and locker rooms. The Democrats in power have ignored them. This is the inevitable result.
