Welcome to Woman’s Hour: The TERF Report. In this episode, I talk about a relatively new and deeply insidious effort by the Democratic Party and the political Left to enshrine so-called “gender identity,” including, in some cases, a constitutional right for children to sterilize themselves, in the law under the guise of protecting abortion rights. 

They do this by referring not to abortion specifically, but to reproductive freedom, reproductive liberty, and/or reproductive autonomy. They do it by referring not to women, but to “people,” or “individuals,” and by not imposing age limits.

• Maryland Question 1

• Missouri Amendment 3

• New York Proposition 1
