"A few days ago, the National Organization for Women posted on X that Riley Gaines and other female athletes who fight for women-only sports are supporting the white supremacist patriarchy and I called them a 'complete and utter embarrassment.' That was not my finest moment, I realize, but check out the ratio on the exchange."

Oh, I don't know, Kara, I think it was a damn fine moment, succinct and true, as is your way. The ratio does not lie. What the hell is wrong with those women? Keeping men out of women's sports is an expression of white supremacist patriarchy? You'd have to be in a sleep-deprived delusional state to come up with something so illogical and just plain dumb. If they're so concerned about racism, they should ponder WDI USA's Black Women's Caucus Statement Against Gender Ideology until common sense sinks in.

Also, by throwing women under the bus, the NOW contingent insulted their own organization and the memory of one of our greatest African American lesbian attorneys, the brilliant Pauli Murray, a founder of NOW and co-author of its Statement of Purpose with Betty Friedan in 1966.

No need to apologize since NOW is a complete and utter embarrassment.

This is bizarre. In the 70s, I was president of the Washington, DC National Organization for Women. I was also on the national board when Betty Frieden was president. I cannot believe that, after all our work and efforts, that NOW today would abandon women's rights. Instead, it's trying to be chic by bending in a pretzel to comply with fad-ish, far left ideology.

Kara, good for you for calling out NOW. They are PATHETIC. Their unashamed support of trans identifying men over the spaces, sports, rights and protections of women and girls makes them A JOKE. You called them out on it. But I disagree with you in that it was indeed your finest moment. What you said was true and measured. NOW is an embarrassment. Believe me I would have said worse. They’ve been captured now for quite a few years. IDIOTS.

Thank you for for calling them out. I am going to get in their X site and tell them how much I support you and Riley. And I will reiterate your statement.

I think it’s good you said what you said. It was not out of line.

So of course they blocked you.

Hopefully for every woman they block another will step forward. I am not on X but I bet there are thousands who can keep driving the point home.

I was surprised to see that a group of democrats is hosting a debate at MIT april 17th to debate whether or not there are more than two sexes.

I am definitely going and definitely braced for some drama. I figure the people who are hosting this debate need all the support they can get and apparently I am one of only 32 people who expressed support.

I feel like this is turning around. The number of people mocking it and calling it out as utter rubbish that is destroying the lives of the brainwashed and mentally ill people who fall prey to it is growing daily.

Keep kicking at the pricks!

Vicki, if you go on NOW’s X platform, you will see so much

Woke ideology as to induce vomiting. Very little has to do with rights of women.

I just went to X to give you a sampling of the gibberish plaster in X, but they have blocked me! 😂😂

Yes, within minutes of following them, I was blocked for stating their acceptance of men in womanface is as misogynistic as a white man in black face is racist. I also said NOW is an embarrassment to Womankind. Most significantly, I said I would not be surprised to learn they are being financed by billionaires through trans activist.

BLOCKED.

I want to add a note of appreciation for your handling of the Boghossian interview, particularly his last round of bone-headed questions. He well and truly revealed his obtuse male bona fides there, and not once did you take the bait. Delightful to see the likes of Edie Wyatt and Julie Bindel weigh in on that, as well, along with lots of acid comments from various and sundry poking fun at his presumption.

American Marxist is doing well. I’m sure you are aware of CRT teachings….oppressor and oppressed. This ideology has torn this country apart. Not just on women spaces. Everything. Inclusion more important than fairness and safety. Talk about destroying a country from the inside….started with Obama. Sorry for those who put him on a pedestal.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 “It is truly a testament to where we are as a society today that it must be said in the context of federal civil rights litigation that women don’t have penises.”

The irony is hilarious and tragic: in federal court of appeal involving federal civil rights of women against a man in womanface in woman-only space. And we have to state women don’t have penises. Isn’t that what federal civil rights for WOMEN was about? To protect the spaces, safety, opportunities of women and girls?

It’s like I’m in a nightmare.

Last year I posted a response on the NOW blog expressing my disbelief that the NOW blog author was calling women who support sex-segregated spaces "bigoted and hateful". My post was quite reasonable-- no name calling, etc. It was removed within a few days. So, I took to Yelp with the following review: "As a feminist I fully support rights of trans individuals- but also feel that the trend toward "self-identity" (anyone who "feels" female, is, therefore female) has created fairness, safety, and privacy issues in women's spaces and sports.

I am disappointed that NOW's stance on this has been to side with the radical tenets of gender ideology- and that NOW feels the need to add to this division by calling feminists who support maintaining sex-segregated spaces "bigots"and "hateful".

(I tried to post the above response to a NOW blog post on this topic; my response was removed. Yes, more censorship and intolerance.)"
