"As a lifelong Democrat, I believe it is high time for bipartisan support to acknowledge the findings of this report."
I don't know how many times we have to say this to our Democratic politicians before they stop lying about all of it.
I recently peaked nearly all the older women in my local painting group. Someone mentioned women's sports, so I took the opportunity to say that men don't belong in them, and the others gathered around to agree. I explained that this is happening to all girls' and women's rights--which they mostly had no idea about--and encouraged them all to contact their Representatives and our Massachusetts Senators.
Someone said, "Elizabeth Warren would never go against women's rights."
I said solemnly, "Oh, yes. She. Would."
Another agreed, "She's all-in on the transgenderism thing."
When the first woman waffled, I said, "Please contact her and tell her what you want from her. PLEASE."
If Elizabeth Warren told the truth to her constituents about her stand on transgenderism, she'd instantly peak all of them.
Politicians MUST be held accountable to their voters.
Good on you for engaging in that conversation. And 💯💯💯truth here: “If Elizabeth Warren told the truth to her constituents about her stand on transgenderism, she'd instantly peak all of them.” I hope folks in MA burn up her phones on this, from now until the moment she returns to common sense.
Stellar, stellar choice, and 💯💯💯 to this: “I have a feeling that women, including many young lesbians, will be thanking you for a long time.” This old lesbian will, too.
The newly appointed personnel in the Department of Health and Human Services cannot be overlooked in the sea change occurring right now. Hate Trump or not, RFK Jr. and Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D. are some of the best antidotes we have against Richard Levine and the remaining trans ideologues still clogging up that agency.
CORRECTION: Richard Levine's position as Assistant Secretary for Health was terminated when Donald Trump was sworn in as President on January 20, 2025.
But when all is said and done, Jamie Reed single-handedly tore down all the myths about so-called gender affirming care for children when she blew the whistle on her own employers. Brave brave woman. Her commitment to the survival of lesbians and gays, including gender non-conforming future lesbians and gays, give her special standing. Thank you, Jamie Reed.
As requested by WDI USA, I just wrote to my Massachusetts Representative and both my Senators asking them to vote NO on the so-called "Equality Act."
However, Senator Markley's website form has no "message topic" for Women's Rights. In fact, he has no "message topic" for Civil Rights at all, without using Civil Rights/LGBT Rights.
I've written before and complained about this. Of course nothing has changed.
So today I called his Boston office and asked WHY this is and who made this decision.
The young man I spoke to at first tried to reassure me that Markley *does* support women's rights, but when I asked to speak to whomever made this decision, he disappeared for a few minutes, then came back with the message from his higher-ups that I could:
a) Write about women's rights under Reproductive Rights (because of course those are the only women's rights that matter)
b) Write under the "message topic" Other, which is alphabetically buried in the list of topics
When I insisted that I wanted to know WHY Senator Markley specifically calls out "LGBT," but not Women's Rights, the young man said he could pass on my question to Senator Markley, but he had no other response, except that Senator Markley doesn't recognize any conflict between women's rights and the demands of the transgenderism lobby. Then he refused to answer any more questions and announced that he was ending the call.
So I wrote to Markley again, asking these questions.
If there are any Massachusetts folks reading this, I encourage you to call Senator Markley's office and ask him WHY he prioritizes "LGBT" civil rights above all other civil rights, including above the rights of HALF of his entire constituency.
I would love to see someone challenge and unseat Markley and Warren. I know it is a long shot, but this issue alone should be grounds.
Politicians be politicking. I have Moulton for a rep, so, no honestly or common sense happening with him most likely unless he suddenly sprouts a backbone.
He got a hard beating when he made his post election comment about trans BS, and people in his office were quitting while protesters swarmed his Salem office every day because lord knows they don’t seem to have jobs.
In local Reddit threads they were howling about replacing him. I feel like I am living the witch hunts up here all time and am so sick of not speaking openly for fear of reprisals (like those nutters burning my house down). I’ve had to call cops where I live because totally batshit cray trans nutters were setting logs on fire by the pond behind me whilst talking to themselves and obviously on drug induced journeys to wherever they go.
Thank you for choosing Jamie this week. I still remember the morning I read that headline in the Free Press (back before I cancelled my subscription thanks to Mr. Wu). I couldn’t believe someone had blown the whistle, especially someone with so much personal and professional credibility. I’ve watched several clips of her testifying all over the country and she is an absolute warrior to me.

I am afraid of them.
They are dangerous.
They have killed before, and they will kill again.

I remember when I first encountered the phrase "gender dysphoria" being taken aback.
And soon enough, I realized that the lesbian/gay conversion therapy and pathologizing of gender non-conforming children was back with vengeance.
