Kara,

A slight correction to what you've written. The UK Equality Act does not have a protected characteristic of "gender recognition". The protected characteristic is "gender reassignment". We do have a Gender Recognition Act that allows a person to get a Gender Recognition Certificate that creates the "legal fiction" of being the opposite sex but this is separate to the Equality Act.

Thank you for the correction! Someone else in the UK emailed me the same note and I edited the piece accordingly.

Thank you, Kara! It’s raining in my neck of the woods this 4th of July so this was the perfect thing to read on a sunless day. I feel re-charged and inspired!

Thank you for the details. Remember it takes 60 votes in the Senate not 50 to pass laws. Schumer knew it wouldn’t pass and thus no need to put his fellow Democrats on record with a vote. Now that House is GOP controlled this stuff will never be law so Biden admin is doing what you have articulated...lying.

It’s not often I read something so crystal clear at 5am in the morning. I am so saddened that traditional gay rights organizations have become anti-lesbian anti-gay misogynists, I ask that my friends stop with funding at any and all opportunities and consider WDI.

The Texan prostate case is really the eruption of what I call a level-1 delusion in the fiction of gender, are there specifics? I couldn’t find a reference through quick search to that case. Sadly, delusions are so easy to recognize. My leg is not mine. I can broadcast thoughts into others. I am a man who is pregnant. There are parasites fused with my brain. My lungs have moved into my abdomen.”
