Thank You WDI!

What those girls really need now is a lawyer, now that their own school's DEI department has publicly defamed them and incited harassment against them with an email sent to every person at the school.

Kara or anyone else, can you help them with contact info for civil rights lawyers who practice in NV, or put them in touch with someone who can? Please reach out to them, or to Riley Gaines who likely has their contact info.

Let's keep our eye out for a GiveSendGo on their behalf, they will need it if they decide to take action. Student-athletes are extremely busy during their athletic season, they don't have the time & energy to fight a smear campaign, they'll need all the logistical help they can get.

It’s even more important to support the SJSU players who object to having a trans player on their team. The assistant coach who supported them has been removed after speaking to the press about an incident where the trans player threw a match and attempted to harm Brooke Slusser, the player who joined the Title IX lawsuit. Instead of investigating that incident, SJSU said the assistant coach violated players’ privacy. The players are being hung out to dry.

I agree that this even worse . If women are forced out of their own category then who are trans going tobeat up next ? Children ?

Expand full comment

Well they're already mutilating children, in particular girls who feel incipient same-sex attraction and are immediately told that they are ackshually boys and must get their breasts sliced off ASAP (which they do, at the rate of around 1000 per year in the US).

They'll beat up each other because there will be no women left on any team. Women are being replaced. Wasn't that always the goal?

I am a upper middle class college educated Jewish woman, who until 2022 lived my whole life in California (grew up in Los Angeles and spent the rest in the SF Bay Area). Most of my friends were what I would call Default Left, Team Good Guys, Team Blue. Had you also told me 10 years ago that I'd be arguing with them that men can't be women, men can't get pregnant, lesbians don't like the penis, men shouldn't be competing in women's sports or getting naked in our changing rooms, I would have said they can't be THAT crazy. I was wrong.

I was told by multiple people, who I have known for years (and thought we were friends) that I was totally wrong, SHE is a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN and how dare I call HER a man. And then they proceeded to call me vile and gross behind my back. I couldn't care less what randos on like Twitter say, but it's kind of jarring when it's people who you have thought of as friends for many years. Now that's it's been proven that yes he is indeed a man (duh), am I going to get any kind of apology? I'm not holding my breath. In fact, I was just manspalined. I posted on my FB page

"Also, just to tie it into the election tomorrow, I have been shouting about this issue for years, and IMHO the issue of men invading women's private spaces and sports sports, as well as the whole topic of gender woo as a whole is finally getting to those who don't pay attention and I think it's the sleeper issue of the election. Moms and dads do not want to think that a man can take their daughters spots, scholarships and glory in sports by men and boys, nor do we want those men and boys in our locker rooms, and we sure as hell don't want to be gas light when it is happening. When Kamala loses tomorrow, this will be a very under rated reason why."

This "friend" who btw is a high ranking professor in the STEM field at a very prestigious university in Boston (not Harvard, the other one) proceeded to mansplain me "In my opinion anyone who sees sports gender issues as the deciding factor for this election is missing the serious threats to life and liberty posed by Trump"

Always nice to be told by a man what my priorities should be

Or you could be told by women.

In a development that totally disgusts me, the Women's Sports Policy Working Group just issued an endorsement of Harris/Walz: https://womenssportspolicy.org/womens-sports-policy-working-group-wants-to-support-vice-president-harris-and-governor-walz-for-president-and-vice-president-of-the-united-states/

Way to throw your fellow athletes under the bus ladies. They are now just Aunt Toms who think that if they don't displease their Trans Massas too much, they may not get mistreated too badly.

Of course I have been banned from their substack by saying so straight to them.

Absolutely throwing female athletes under the bus!!! WHY??? Thanks for nothing, Women's Sports Policy Working Group. You are undermining girls and women!

Nah nah, we don't need purity spirals here. You hate it when it happens to you so lay off. Gender is a HUGE issue, but it's not the only huge issue in this election, the fact is GCs are going to break different ways on the Trump-Harris question and we do NOT need to be eating our own over that.

Expand full comment

And that is precisely why "our own" should not be making endorsements, particularly of candidates who are explicitly opposed to the policies they claim to support.

Expand full comment

Eh, I agree that it's better not to and that they are fooling themselves, but it's more important to me to keep GCs from imploding than to fight over this.

Expand full comment

Do you mean 'gender critical' when you say GC ? Because I don't see how you can 'keep GC's together at all WITHOUT being critical ? I know politicians will say anything to be voted in - or is this just a US trope ?

I hate reading about women injured through allowing men into their sport teams !
