There are now a number of countries around the world that have fallen to gender ideology, a number of countries that now allow for "gender certificates." Spain, for example has passed a horrific law that not only allows for gender certificates, but also allows minors to "transition" without parental consent. Let's not forget the train wreck in Scotland leading to Sturgeon's political demise.
And, of course, the elites who push this nonsense conjure up the often mythical creatures from history -" kinnar," "three-spirited" that evoke gender fluidity, and hijack these themes to create the delusion that "transgenderism" is a real thing in the modern world. People fall for this mythology trap, as it appeals to a human wish to connect with some ancient past, a religious or spiritual connection that is often sadly missing in many peoples' lives. I noticed a few weeks back an attempt to make the same connections with Judaism. Recently, there was an essay in the NYT titled, "Ancient Judaism Recognized a Range of Genders. It's Time We Did, Too." I did not read this, as I did not have access to it.
I know that African nations are pushing back against the America's attempt to infect that continent with such rubbish.
We need to expect this to continue happening and be vigilant, always ready to push back and push back hard.
Cardona wasn't really ready because he never answered the question. He gave a garbled nonsense response. Perhaps he could be asked if his department can focus on females having equal access free from discrimination.
2015 sure was one sucky year. I think a lot of us who never considered ourselves “radical feminists” suddenly moved to that corner, which comes with it’s own challenges.
I can honestly say that of all the hideous and frightening assaults on women and human liberty in general was born of this BS trans cult.
The full realization of how fast men and their handmaidens would sell us out in favor of a Brave New World, one where women are silenced, hated and blamed for all the evils of men, one where we are stripped of all rights without anyone even knowing it until it’s done, and we looked around and realized everyone we ever supported and fought for suddenly considered us to be wore than Hitler.
FUCK. ALL. THAT.
But hey, we have been organizing, and those who can and did stand up and speak out have been building a space for all these people who just found out that this is even a thing.
So, hey, at least they have Kara Dansky, JK Rowling, Kelly Jay Keen, and all the women who have come together across all lines of separation to say FUCK. ALL. THIS.
Bill Maher and Piers Morgan took on Katie Porter. This is why you have men sticking up for women....Katie Porter fails us. Women are too damn nice, get the feelings out of your head, no time to be nice. The significance majority are on our side, must break through to MSM. Bill Maher, Dr Phil good starts. Every conservative media outlet is shining the light. Does demonstrate that MSM is joined at hip to WH agenda. Not good for truth nor debate.
I don't know what prompted the reconsideration, but will let you know if I find more info. The 2018 law was intended to protect transgender people, which were defined under the law as intersex people, eunuchs, and persons who identified as transgender regardless of surgery, etc. My reading of it is that it was self-ID for all purposes except imprisonment. There, it called for separate jails and prisons for transgender people.
However, it appears that as of Feb 2023 the Pakistani Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights is proposing that the bill be limited to protection of intersex people. So perhaps it is possible to come back from some of this. I left Pakistan in 2019, so I am quite out of the loop, but perhaps some reason has prevailed. I will try to keep up with the issue and let you know anything I find out.
Education Department Secretary Cardona probably said, “Our FOCUS at the Department is to provide equal access to students."
I wonder if we'd get that answer to the question: "What is a Black life and why do they matter?" (They do, of course. But I'm guessing we'd get something a little more specifically on-topic than the boilerplate above.)
Watching him, it was clear to me he had been carefully prepped, and the chosen strategy was to dodge the question. What is endlessly astonishing about this, among other things, is that he or anyone in the Biden admin has so backed themselves into a corner that they think stating what a woman actually is as a matter of indisputable biological fact is some sort of gotcha. I have seen a lot of things in my many decades of life, but this extraordinary science denial from the left side of the aisle was not on my bingo card.
The TRA/MRA comparison is an excellent observation. It doesn't end there, and the dismissal by "traditionalists" of the brains and accomplishments of half the population slows down human advancement.
Thanks for your comment! I’m a GenX woman who bought Fight Club on DVD after I saw it once. Almost wet myself when they stole (?) the liposuction fat, turned it into “luxury” soap and sold it back to the women! I find that incredibly funny. Maybe I don’t understand what the movie is actually about, either. 😳
MRA’s don’t like the TRA’s being associated with them (from the one MRA I listened to for about ten minutes), but for anyone who has emotional maturity, it’s really plain to see that connection.
I usually precede any grouping of people by the word "some." I should have said "some" traditionalists. I can't speak for you but I can speak from my experience, and I can say there are some things I would not have accomplished if it wasn't for individual men mentoring me along the way in spite of others who would undermine me. I can also say I've had too many nasty encounters with those men who say they like or respect women (put them on a pedestal), but then I find it's only if the female conforms to some rigid stereotype and responds "correctly." I'll probably ruffle some feathers by stating the trans handmaidens, the females screaming at Kelli-Jay, Riley Gaines, Kara, are a twisted form of "traditionalist" females, those who have males on a pedestal and will try and destroy other females who they see as a threat to the (trans) male agenda. I agree Tate is a cult leader. The young men looking up to him are going down a very bad road.
The tyranny of "identity" may be global, but so is your activism.

UK PM "100 percent of girls do not have a penis". Who knew those would be wise words one day!
Cardona wasn't really ready because he never answered the question. He gave a garbled nonsense response. Perhaps he could be asked if his department can focus on females having equal access free from discrimination.
He answered the question exactly how he was told to answer it, three times!
Yes, he gave a non-answer, a prepared mantra, 3 times.

Thank the goddess for all of you.
I watched it live but here’s a clip. Probably best to see on YouTube but the part of women sports is in this article.

Hi, Monica: do you have a link for what you’re describing? I haven’t seen this and would like to take a look. Thanks.
Pakistan passed a similar law in 2018 https://na.gov.pk/uploads/documents/1526547582_234.pdf and is already reconsidering it https://www.samaaenglish.tv/news/40027510

You and me both, sister.
