On July 27, 2024, the feminist publication Reduxx broke the news that two male boxers would be competing in the women’s category in Olympic boxing. Boxing.
There is no way to say this other than that the Olympics are allowing two men to beat up women, on a global stage, for sport and entertainment.
Or maybe there is another way to say it. As one X user put it, men punching women is now officially an Olympic sport.
On Thursday August 1st, Italy’s Angela Carini, a 25 year old from Naples, will step into the ring to face a man named Imane Khelif in the Olympic Boxing Arena. This is him:

This is nothing short of disgusting, and I honestly have no idea how much abuse women will ultimately be expected to take at the altar of men’s “woman gender identities.”
In 2021, the group Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF) sued the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) over a state law that requires CDCR to house prisoners, including rapists, according to their alleged “gender identities.” Hundreds of male inmates immediately requested transfer to the women’s prison, and many of those applications have been granted. The complaint (which has since been amended) details years of abuse and trauma in California women’s prisons. WoLF alleges that the law violates female inmates’ rights under the First, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. When they filed their first complaint in 2021, I thought, “Is this enough abuse for women to have to endure at the altar of men’s ‘gender identities’?”
In March of last year, some sorority sisters sued the Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) sorority over its policy of admitting men who “identify as women” into the sorority. Under that policy, KKG had admitted a man named Artemis Langford into the sorority on the basis of his alleged woman identity. This is Langford:

As reported by Reduxx, the complaint alleged that Langford:
Silently watched a female sorority member walk down the hall toward the communal shower wearing only a towel;
Regularly watched members enter the sorority house either with an erection that was visible through his leggings or while holding a pillow in his lap;
Took photographs of sorority sisters while at a slumber party, while making inappropriate comments and staring at the women as they changed into sleeping garments (he was supposed to leave the party by 10 p.m., but instead said that he intended to leave once the women fell asleep, finally leaving at midnight);
Repeatedly questioned women about what vaginas look like, their breast cup sizes, and whether they were considering breast reductions and birth control;
Watched a woman changing her shirt (without a bra), appearing to be sexually aroused and holding his hands over his genitals; and
Repeatedly questioned that woman about her romantic attachments.
I wondered, “Is this enough?” Is this enough abuse for women to have to endure so that men can have their woman “gender identities” validated?
I could go on, but I won’t. You get the point. If you do want to read more about countless other instances of the abuse women have suffered at the altar of men’s “gender identities,” please consider a paid subscription.
Either way, those of us who have been wondering just how much abuse women are going to have to endure at the altar of men’s woman identities will just have to keep wondering. Because the Olympics have now turned male violence against women into an Olympic sport. Unless they change course, on August 1, we will all be able to watch a man beat up a woman on a global stage, for sport and entertainment. May the odds be ever in her favor.
If you care about women and girls, now would be an excellent time to watch, like, and share this video by the wonderful Terven Pristess.
Men need to get the hell out of our sports.
My despair is hard to describe. My understanding is the IOC Paris created specific organization to determine eligibility in boxing for Paris Olympics. World Boxing (which protects female category) is NOT the international governing federation for boxing at Olympics. Of all the sports -- boxing should not allow males to beat up women. I am beyond disgusted.
Thanks for shining a light on this, and for including the Reduxx link, which is excellent. The fact that these men may have DSDs does not change anything with regard to their male advantage, and the Reduxx article does a terrific job of making clear why. Most of all, it is horrifying to think about the women who are slated to compete against these men and could well be seriously hurt.
