Instituting these FFS Friday posts was a brilliant idea of yours. Applause to Frances Staudt for her courage and willingness to speak out, with thanks also to FAIR for taking this up. I agree completely, too, that the complaint itself is worth reading, for the quote from AG Falk’s office alone. Thank you, Kara, for continuing to bring us the news and honor so many courageous women and girls.
Brava Frances! Your bravery is so commendable and inspiring! And thank you Kara for shining a light on the every day harm that the current gender ideology is doing to women and girls. It frustrates me when people I know parrot the line, “Why do you care so much about this issue? It impacts such a small percent of the population.” Most people, particularly progressives/liberals are really ignorant on how misogynistic, homophobic and dangerous this ideology is. You, J.K. Rowling and Abigail Shrier are my heroes for doing your best to educate the public on this issue.
Interesting that the male athlete admits that he's always going to be biologically male. But of course the overall takeaway we're supposed to have is that the objectors are overreacting.
Don’t worry. There won’t be any reproductive rights to bother about. As far as Trump, Musk, and Vance are concerned, women only exist to be broodmares for more sons. We will be kept alive only as long as necessary to get the brats old enough to work in mines and factories — about age 13.
What are we to do? Why must we have to choose between a candidate who is for reproductive rights and one who is for sex-based protections? Both are women’s issues! And being pro-choice and anti-gender ideology ought to be regarded as ideologically consistent positions. And yet they are not.
Reproductive rights are FAR more important. Abortion and birth control are absolutely essential to keeping women in public life and just simply alive. This should not be even a question.
Don’t make a straw man argument. What about the reproductive rights of thousands of young women who will become sterile as a result of being pushed into “gender affirming care” before they are old enough to comprehend what they are doing? There are several detransitioner lawsuits going through the courts right now that the legacy media won’t cover and it is just the tip of the iceberg. Planned Parenthood has become the largest provider of testosterone to young women in the country with very little oversight. Read Bari Weiss’s Free Press and learn about what is being done to these young women who dare to speak out against this wholesale travesty. Of course women’s reproductive rights are important but as soon as Roe vs. Wade was overturned it became a states rights issue. Right now if it wasn’t for Trump’s executive order there would be no protections for young women and this story points out that even with his EO schools in blue states still won’t protect young women/ girls from this horrendous ideology.
It’s now a states’ rights issue because Trump, as he promised, deliberately appointed Supreme Court justices who pledged to overturn Roe. He conveniently forgets to mention that when he tells everyone it’s all ok, because he’s leaving it up to the states. Let’s not forget his role in taking away women’s reproductive freedom.
Let’s also not forget his role in protecting young women from sterilization and mutilation.
Again, we are faced with a choice, it seems, and I don’t know why we should be. Why is there no one candidate, or party, who is in favor of women’s rights, consistently?
Following and deeply appreciating this discussion, especially essential points developed by "Me" and Azzolini--thank you! Agree that persuasion of Democrats about the harm of gender ideology etc. and shining a light on its insidiousness is important. So, please suggest how, practically, this might happen with elected representatives. I have been at a loss at the Democrat's recent lock-step vote against protecting women in sports. My question is: What is it about this ideology that has convinced even the Democratic Women's caucus to vote against their own interests? I have just not been able to figure it out. For example, I even wrote to NOW a couple of year's ago asking them please, in good faith, to explain the reasoning behind their support, and got no response. So, would they be open to Jennifer Bilek, or is this ideology something impervious to reason or new information? I'd suggest delving into cult degrogramming, but this movement has no one/obvious cult leader. Please share more thoughts.
And the more people speak out and say we don’t want this, the more they dig in and double down.
It is now directly impacting my work life, as my annoying genderist employee, who was mediocre at best, and her now *non-binary* husband of 16 years are going deeper down the rabbit hole, and all I can say is that I will shed no tears for those who willingly did this to themselves.
But do not dare push it on me. I view such people as no different than little brownshirt vipers, snitching out adults around them for saying forbidden things.
Take the meds, Andi, and get your junk chopped. But even then, ya still ain’t a woman.

Kara, I have just read "Sex and Gender in Trump’s America," a gender-critical feminist's analysis by Rachel Durrent:
https://www.filia.org.uk/latest-news/2025/2/6/sex-and-gender-in-trumps-america?mc_cid=e13c8cc2ef&mc_eid=670a8c7e3d&mc_cid=e0782a09d9&mc_eid=ba9df0cb7d. Would you kindly review this and comment on Durrent's warnings with respect to reproductive rights and women's liberation in general? Thanks!
I second that! I, too, am concerned about reproductive rights under the new administration.

Do you really believe that Trump will respect state laws protecting reproductive freedom?

Another girl is also decrying a male keeping her from participating in sports.
