This post is a bit different from my usual posts, in that it will not focus exclusively (or even primarily) on “gender identity” (i.e., today’s industry-fueled men’s sexual entitlement movement). Instead, it will explore contemporary debates about whether feminist individuals and groups ought to work with conservative organizations and/or distance themselves when conservatives appear at events. These debates have been going on for a very long time, but some recent events in the UK have turned up the heat. There are some very complex dynamics going on here that seem to be getting lost in conversation.
