Happy Halloween!

I’ve spent a good part of this month in the UK, and this post will have a few things to say about that. One result is that it has been very difficult to keep up with writing. I’ve been able to pay attention to a few important news items, but I haven’t been able to write much about them. Now that I’m home, I thought I would do that.

First up, this story from The Free Press from a doctor who helped pioneer “gender affirming care” and is now blowing the whistle on it.

A lot of people are very happy to see this news, and for good reason. It’s time for the Dutch protocol (on which most “child gender transition” has been based globally) to crumble.

But is that all that’s going on here? I have some thoughts.
