Some Local School Boards Are in Revolt When it Comes to Girls' Sports
And some thoughts about AB Hernandez

Last week, the Kern County Board of Education in California approved a resolution to comply with the federal definition of Title IX, in defiance of the state Department of Education. The Department continues to insist on allowing boys to compete in sports intended for girls.
Meanwhile, the US Department of Justice has sued the state, alleging that its policy of allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports violates Title IX, a California high school girls’ volleyball team forfeited a match against a team that is believed to include a male player, and two girls have sued Riverside High School for allowing a boy to earn a spot on the varsity cross-country team.
This is all happening while some other local school districts have defied federal circuit courts of appeals by refusing to allow kids to use the opposite-sex bathrooms in their facilities. What does all of this mean?
I have also been thinking about AB Hernandez, a male athlete who has been killing it in girls’ sports (and was the reason the girls forfeited the volleyball match). I’m not all that surprised at what I’ve learned about him.
