Now We Know For Sure: Imane Khelif is a man

And the Olympics allowed him to beat up women for sport on a global stage

First, please check out this excellent thread from Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender about the biased reporting of the New York Times when it comes to matters regarding sex and gender.

On July 27, 2024, the feminist magazine Reduxx broke the news that two boxers scheduled to compete in women’s boxing during the 2024 Paris Olympics were probably male. I wrote about the matter in a free and shareable piece titled, “Male Violence Against Women is Now an Olympic Sport.”

One of them is an Algerian boxer named Imane Khelif. The other is named Lin Yu-Ting, but this post focuses on Khelif.

In one match, he boxed against an Italian woman named Angela Carini. He punched her in the face and she forfeited after 46 seconds, fearing for her safety.

He went on to win gold.

Not everyone believed it. I got into numerous fights with Facebook friends about it. Several friends of friends (mostly Americans) repeatedly shouted on Facebook and elsewhere, “Imane Khelif has a vagina!” I wondered how any American, none of whom have probably ever met Imane Khelif, could possibly know such a thing.

But, people invested in “gender” have to maintain such positions, regardless of whether they have any basis for knowing what they’re talking about. That’s just how this works. Recall that Rachel McKinnon/Rhys McKinnon/Veronica Ivy (a male bicyclist who regularly competes in the women’s category and calls himself a “biological female”) wrote a thesis titled, “Reasonable Assertions: On Norms of Assertion and Why You Don’t Need to Know What You’re Talking About.”

Feminists were criticized for “evaluating Imane’s looks based on racist Western beauty standards.” We were called bigots, haters, and Nazis.

But now it’s been confirmed. Imane Khelif is male. So, what happened, and what do we know now? Read on to learn more.
