Since the issuance of the executive order, Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government, there has been a lot of talk about the topic of male inmates who are incarcerated in the US federal prison system. Can they be transferred back to a men’s prison immediately? Does the government have to wait for more legal changes before transferring them back? What does the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) have to do with it?
