Maud Maron and the case of the missing Democrat

Maud Maron is a Democratic candidate for New York’s 10th Congressional district. She is a mother of three, an advocate for children, and a former public defender. She has also spoken out against the enshrinement of “gender identity” in the law and the teaching of it in schools. She has #IStandWithJKRowling in her Twitter bio. On June 23 (the 50th anniversary of Title IX), she spoke at the Our Bodies Our Sports rally in defense of female-only sports.
On July 10, it was announced that she would not be permitted to participate in an upcoming forum for Democratic candidates for Congress (which proceeded to happen on Monday). This post explores what happened.
