Another top notch entry in this top notch series. Thanks for including the ABC link, a decent job of reporting on this, and good to see. These young women and men show here both tremendous courage and also a brilliant piece of grass roots organizing. They should not, as you so rightly note, have to be doing this all, but it is fantastic form to see this, and I hope they are successful.

I just don't get it! Isn’t this the area where a boy raped two girls on school grounds; one in the girls bathroom? How can these people be in favor of the rape of school girls? Seems the rapist, Hunter Heckel, never got a jail sentence, and the school principal, Scott Ziegler, denied any rape took place, i.e. covered up for the rapist. Why aren't these people in jail as accomplices to bathroom rapists like Heckel!?

Well done those Girls.

Is WoLF on this at all? Mostly asking because this would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make terrible puns about Virginia WoLF and needing rooms of our own 😝

You are correct. That being said, if enough of these brave girls can motivate adults to take a position that comes in conflict with the existing policy, it would send a message that people are tired of kowtowing to this nonsense. That’s the only way things will change. Right now the Democratic Party doesn’t recognize the problem because they have largely been able to get away with it in the era of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Blue States need to learn there will be repercussions in the future for pushing this harmful policy. And on a separate note, can I just reiterate how offensive I find the lumping in of trans with gay and lesbian individuals? Same sex attracted people have nothing in common with trans identified individuals. We need to continue to call out how harmful it is to push this ideology on vulnerable gender non-conforming children, who would most likely grow up to be gay or lesbian.
