FFS (Female Free Speech) Friday honors women and girls who are speaking out about the harms that “gender identity” poses to women and girls as a sex class. FFS Friday posts are free and shareable. If you would like access to content that delves deeper into the movement to protect the sex-based rights of women and girls and to stop the abolition of sex, please consider a paid subscription.
Today’s FFS Friday celebrates Hannah Lape, a senior at Wheaton College who is speaking out on behalf of female students and against a school district’s policy of allowing male students to be present in the girls’ locker room.
Transgenderism is an adult fantasy that should not touch school aged girls and boys. Adult sexual perversion has no place in the classroom and adult gender delusion should not be pushed onto vulnerable boys and girls.
A school board meeting grew heated Thursday night amid a discussion of a situation at a school in the north Chicago suburb of Deerfield that has captured national headlines.
The situation involves allegations that middle school students were forced to change gym clothes in a locker room in front of a transgender classmate. The Deerfield Public Schools District 109 board heard an earful — with some being passionate and unhappy about the alleged incident.
By “transgender classmate,” of course, CBS means “boy.”
In March, parents alleged that girls who attend Shepard Middle School, also in the district, were forced to change into gym clothes in front of a male classmate in the girls' locker room. One parent spoke publicly about it at the board meeting last Thursday night.
The board claims both that the incident never happened and also that it complies with state law (given that this is occurring in Illinois, I’m happy to assume the board is right that state law requires schools to allow male students to access girls’ locker rooms).
Hannah was before the board to testify, and this is what she said (while some gender zealots tried to silence her):
I am here today to speak on behalf of Nicole Georges and her daughter and for female students in the Deerfield School District. Female students need teachers who will protect their physical bodies, preserve their innocence, respect their boundaries, hear their needs, and offer them female bathrooms and locker rooms.
This is not a dismissable incident that has taken place at Deerfield school. Deerfield has allowed male students access to the female bathrooms and locker rooms, and faculty and administrators allegedly repeatedly barricaded several underage girls in the locker room and forced them to undress in front of a male.
Deerfield Administration, faculty, and staff are complicit in the sexual abuse of several young girls. I sincerely hope that Attorney General Bondi and the Department of Justice heed referrals for criminal investigations. No one in this room is a hero for defending this abuse in the name of compassion, social justice, empathy, or transgender rights.
Transgenderism is an adult fantasy that should not touch school aged girls and boys. Adult sexual perversion has no place in the classroom and adult gender delusion should not be pushed onto vulnerable boys and girls.
No amount of emotional manipulation or noise will change the fact that transgenderism destroys, confuses, sexualizes, grooms, and mutilates children. There is no such thing as a transgender child, only abusive parents, pedophiles, online predators, and their underage victims.
Girls are girls, boys are boys, and schools, starting right here in Deerfield, must resist transgenderism, pedophilia, and child abuse. Step one: Deerfield bathrooms must be designated by biological sex. Until this school district stands up for biological girls and makes real change, female students will be abused again, and again, and again, in the name of progress.
Thank you to the board.
A two-minute video of her testimony is available on the X feed of Genevieve Gluck (@WomenReadWomen). Hannah does not hold back!
What Hannah said must be repeated over and over again until every single law and policy that allows men and boys to be in female-only spaces is thrown into the bin. Women and girls deserve so much more. Hannah, if you’re reading this, thank you for speaking out. Today’s FFS Friday is for you.
Hannah Lape is an extraordinarily impressive young woman. She powerfully describes appalling instances of destruction of boundaries that are meant to guarantee the safety, privacy, and dignity of women and girls and to allow for their full participation in public life. Thoughtful, articulate, and courageous young women like Lape are the leaders of tomorrow. They should be fêted, mentored, and encouraged by everyone, everywhere, as Kara has done here. I will restack.
As Kim Jones from @iconswomen.com would say, "throw it in the bin and light it on fire."🔥
