Sometimes, I save your posts so that I can recall specific events when speaking to someone about women's issues in this melee. Sometimes, like today, I cringe so much at what is the truth before us, that I am loathe to save, and re-read the post. This is one of those posts. I can hardly read it without crying and and shrinking within myself. I can hardly be civil, I get so angry. But I will save it, because it is the basis on which our current misogynistic culture stands. Men and boys can rape, women cannot even speak. The Epstein class escapes even the visible light of day, and the victims are left with no voice.
I’m just now grasping the double-entendre of FFS, for fucks’ sake! 🤬🤬🤬 This was hard to read but it’s also important to recognize Dora and know who she is, so thank you Kara. I hope and believe she’ll feature in future stories that will have us all standing up to cheer. Today we’ll seethe in solidarity.
So this kind of slurry boils my blood--especially in the face of the TRA trope of "excluding genderspecials hurts [cis] women." These people have literally declared war on Women.
This cult have appropriated "womanhood", and found it distasteful enough that they set on a global mission to eradicate every element of our lives that they are biologically excluded from. These men and their enablers will not rest until women are forcibly cattle-driven into categories of "non-classification", until the very language we use to describe ourselves is diluted into neutered non-linguistic bullshit. All to accommodate a segment of porn-sick dudes with 'the womanlyfeels' who got the 'sads' because women wrote words on the internet.
In the "Genderspecial Utopia", the "expression" of women and children are of hypersexual objects constructed for degradation; complicit in their sexual abuse, inviting of it even. Sexual assault, harassment, psychological abuse are valued as affirming and validating; woman is after all, defined by her willingness to acquiesce to the desires of men. Supplication and nothing less will suffice. I cannot dislike these people enough.
And FRANCE, y'all. Why am I shocked that I'm not shocked?
Thank you Kara. I guess I should feel gratitude that I live in the US and have The First Amendment but after reading your post I feel very little comfort. I hate that this is the world we live in today but still hoping for a radical shift away from this misogynistic nihilism. I will borrow words from civil rights activist Fanny Lou Hamer because they are appropriate to all women as a sex class: “Until all of us are free, none of us are free”. 💙

Go 🇫🇷. This cannot stand in a country that has prided itself in freedom of speech and belief and who produced great leaders in feminist thought.
