I didn’t realize these Kappa women were still involved in appeals. I wish them success!

Yes. We are not sitting down and shutting up! We want our sorority back- for WOMEN!

WE SHALL OVERCOME.

This gets covered in the WyoFile, a Wyoming journal/newspaper. The writers are quite far left (weird for Wyoming!) and very sympathetic to "Artemis". The argument has been lost because apparently sororities are private orgs. ? And now they have "no standing" since the girls graduated. What a load of hooey.

The WY case dismissal was appealed to the 10th Circuit where it is still active. Kara Dansky filed a well reasoned Amicus Brief as did True Blue Sapphires (Kappa alumnae supporting the lawsuit). I recall that the Washington Post wrote a slatheringly sympathetic article about him. Oh, he just wanted to be accepted! The young women were cruel to him! Yeah, they accepted you as a man and that's reality, not cruelty. WaPo did their usual only flattering photos, most of his face and body in shadow or from behind, and never next to an actual woman where you'd see how hulking he is. Of course no mention of his watching them undress while he had a hard-on or had a pillow over his lap to hide his boner. I was fuming.

He sounds like a classic autogynephiliac. But they’ll never say that.

Or just a bog standard male predator.

Obviously, he's a straight man sexually preying on those young women.

It can be both things.

Gosh, I guess women will have to start their own organization....oops, they did.

i’m so glad they’ve filed an amended complaint! this case really matters for women’s safety, dignity and for our right to say NO to men.

Great choice to feature Carilyn! I love following her on X. I've only seen her posts about women's sports; I didn't realize she resigned from her sorority. Good on her!

Carilyn is brilliant and stalwart. I love hearing what she eats during her step challenge!

Another inspired pick! I hope Carilyn reads this and listens to my interview with KKG alum & retired attorney Cheryl Tuck Smith, whom you introduced to me. I'm honestly afraid to look into where my own sorority (Tri Delt) has positioned itself on this issue, but I totally support the idea of resigning publicly if the news is bad.

A Terven role model! Yes, reading is so important, for children and for the adults they grow into. When I was growing up my whole family read. We'd sit around the dinner table eating, each with a book propped up in front of us. Lol. Not the best for family chat but good in other ways. It still feels weird to eat without reading.

Good on you, Carilyn, for resigning from Kappa Kappa Gamma. The absolute idiocy and illogic of allowing a man into a woman's sorority! I hope that they will win their appeal.

Indeed. Not a lawyer of course, but it seems to me that right to freedom of association for women's sororities should trump any sort of equal rights claim by men to join them there:
