FFS (Female Free Speech) Friday honors women and girls who are speaking out about the harms that “gender identity” poses to women and girls as a sex class. FFS Friday posts are free and shareable. If you would like access to content that delves deeper into the movement to protect the sex-based rights of women and girls and to stop the abolition of sex, please consider a paid subscription.
Today’s FFS Friday honors Angie Jones, a tireless TERF in Australia who always holds the line.
Bring it on, Dude.
Angie has been TERFing hard in Australia for several years now.
Two weeks ago, FFS Friday honored Moira Deeming, who had recently won a defamation action against the then leader of the Victoria Liberal Party, John Pesutto. Deeming had attended a 2023 rally organized by UK women’s rights campaigner Kellie-Jay Keen at the Victoria Parliament building in Melbourne, which some neo-Nazis gate-crashed. Pesutto falsely accused Deeming of having associations with neo-Nazis and eventually had her expelled from the party.
During the same time period, Pesutto also accused both Jones and Keen of having associations with neo-Nazis. That matter eventually settled and Pesutto offered a half-hearted apology to both women. No evidence has ever been produced to even suggest that Deeming, Keen, or Jones was connected in any way with the neo-Nazis who crashed the rally. Even still, Pesutto seems to have taken back the apology.
Now, credit is due to Angie herself.
I wrote about her (specifically, about this incident) in my 2023 book, The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls, in the section on the complicity of the mainstream legacy media:
This is happening globally. In March 2023, U.K. women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen went to Australia to host a series of Let Women Speak events. Keen makes no secret of her politics—she is from the political left and in favor of abortion rights, although recent developments regarding the championing of “gender identity” by left-leaning political parties in her country and elsewhere have made her rethink her stances on some topics. At one such event in Melbourne, a group of literal neo-Nazis showed up while the women were speaking and being surrounded and yelled at by trantifa (readers may recall that this term is a combination of “trans” and “antifa”). Trantifa activists sprayed women with water and liquid that smelled like feces, mimed slitting women’s throats, and punched police horses to get past the police and attack the women. There is no evidence that Keen’s group coordinated with the neo-Nazis or had any idea that they were coming. Yet Australian media pounced on the appearance of a neo-Nazi group at a women’s rights event.
An Australian woman named Angie Jones whose X bio reads: “Gender Heretic. Woman. Leftie. Women’s Rights Activist. Radfem” (“Radfem” is short for “radical feminist”) helped coordinate the Let Women Speak event in Melbourne. After that event, Jones lamented the disingenuousness of the Australian media. She said that not a single journalist had contacted her group to ask who they were or what they were about. Not one of them watched the livestream or spoke to any of the women who spoke at the event. Not one of them attended the event to see for themselves what was going on.
The irony of it all is that the Nazis weren’t even there to support Keen’s group, and there is no evidence that Keen or any of the organizers had any reason to think they would be there. They just showed up, and from what has been reported, it seems as though the police allowed them to stand on the steps of Parliament. The Nazi group made statements saying that they were there because they didn’t want the pushback against “gender identity” to be dominated by “radical feminist atheists.” The Nazis were there, in other words, to protest against the “trans” activists, but also against the leftist women. The media will never be honest about this because they know the truth—if the general public could hear the arguments of rational, leftist, radical feminist women, the entire edifice of “gender identity” would come crashing down. So they subject us to a near total media blackout, and when they report about us at all—our concern for women’s sex-based rights, our concern for the health and safety of children, or our concern for material reality—they paint us as “far right.”
Angie has since updated her Twitter/X bio to read: “Women’s rights activist defending female only spaces. Caught up in an infamous defamation trial. Second Wave Feminist.” I assume she hasn’t changed her views about much of anything.
I have since learned, thanks to Angie, that Pesutto has lost his leadership position in the party, and that Moira is back in. This all came as very welcome news to numerous Australian women.
Well done, all you Aussie women.
In the meantime, it was revealed that Imane Khelif was named the Associated Press’s third top “female athlete of the year.” For anyone who may not remember, Khelif is a man who was permitted to punch women in the head during this year’s Olympics by competing in the women’s boxing competition. For the record, men can punch 2.6 times harder than women.
One of the women he was allowed to punch in the head on the world stage was Italian boxer Angela Carini, who forfeited the match 46 seconds in, rather than risk her own life. This is Khelif and Carini, after the match:
One day, everyone who applauded this will have to look back in shame.
Khelif said that he would “denounce those who said she is a man.” To which, Angie replied, “Bring it on, Dude.”
Angie is as brave as they come. She will never call a man a woman, and she always holds the line. She’s put her life on the line to protect the sex-based rights of women and girls, and I’m confident she’ll do it as many times as necessary until victory is secured. She tells me that Australia is at least five years behind the US and that there are very few public TERFs there.
Well, Angie, even if there are very few public TERFs in Australia, you are one of them, and you deserve all the honors. If you are reading this, today’s FFS Friday is for you.
BRAVO! Angie.
Yet another her great choice for FFS Friday. (I also love the way Angie changed her Twitter bio.)
