Why are you committing obvious political suicide?

I was extremely fortunate to spend the weekend in Calgary, Canada, with the lovely women of the group Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights (CaWsbar, @cawsbar on X).

On Saturday, International Women’s Day, I was honored to speak at an event celebrating women. Other speakers included Maureen Sullivan, Drea Humphrey, Ghislaine Gendron, Amy Hamm, and Heather Mason. I am told that the event will be posted on YouTube soon.

On Sunday, I joined a rally to get men (so-called “transgender women”) out of women-only prisons and it was exhilarating. We got a ton of public support. Here are some great videos covering the event.

Overall, it was an amazing weekend and I’m incredibly grateful to my Canadian sisters for inviting and hosting me.

In conversations about so-called “gender identity” and “trans,” I often get the question, “Why are the Democrats doing this? Literally everyone knows that American voters across the political spectrum know that sex is real and that women and girls deserve female-only sports and spaces! So why are they doing this??? Don’t they know it’s political suicide???” It’s obviously a completely understandable question. Sadly, I have not come up with a good answer, but thanks to some friends, I have some ideas.
