Tomorrow, April 12, 2023, Dr. Phil will air an episode of the show titled “Are Women Being Erased.” I was happy to appear in the episode with Ruth Barrett, author of the 2016 anthology Female Erasure: What You Need to Know About Gender Politics’ War on Women, the Female Sex and Human Rights, YouTube extraordinaire Sydney Watson, and a handful of people who want everyone to pretend that sex isn’t real.

Three million viewers per week watch Dr. Phil. Just regular Americans, lots of mothers. This is huge. Well, probably huge, depending on how much Kara’s bits get edited.

I’m shocked but thrilled to see Kara, Ruth AND Sydney representing the Vulvish on Dr. Phil’s show. I already have a knot in my stomach imagining the nonsense you were confronted with. Hopefully you had a fair chance to respond. Serious conversation rarely gets far on his show when the topic is controversial. It’s mostly sensationalism and soundbites.
But the fact that you three made it that far represents a sea change in public awareness. My fingers are crossed that one or all of you will have corrected that poor woman who thinks it was possible for her to give birth even though she’s a man.
