DIAG Message to Lawmakers
Democrats Oppose the Redefinition of Sex to Include “Gender Identity.”
September 10, 2024
Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender (DIAG) has issued a call to action:
DIAG is a 501c3 all volunteer organization of Democratic voters working to depoliticize and shed light on the harms of gender identity ideology and sex-denialism. DIAG aims to help the Democratic Party course-correct and return to its long held liberal values: protecting the rights of women and girls; valuing open discourse and free speech; and insisting on quality, evidence-based medicine for all.
With a few easy clicks, you can send your local lawmakers my open letter to Vice President Harris and my op ed calling on journalists to ask Tim Walz tough questions about turning Minnesota into a “trans refuge state.”

Use DIAG’s Action Button and our customizable template letter to quickly send your lawmaker links to Dansky’s latest efforts to reach Harris and Walz, and the broader slate of Democratic legislators. Her “open letter to Kamala Harris from a Democratic woman” explains how the redefinition of sex to include “gender identity” in U.S. law and policy, which the Vice President publicly supports, harms women and girls as a sex class and threatens gay rights by denying the material reality of sex (you can’t protect sex-based rights if you can’t acknowledge what sex is).
In her op ed, “Tim Walz owes Democrats some answers on ‘gender identity’ and children,” Dansky called on journalists to ask Governor Walz tough questions about why he supported turning Minnesota into a “trans refuge state” in 2023 and whether he stands by that decision. As Dansky explained, the “phrase ‘gender-affirming care’ sounds nice, but as investigative journalist Gerald Posner explained in the Wall Street Journal last year, such interventions are more like a human experiment that borders on child abuse,” and that “[t]he case is rapidly crumbling for allowing minors to take such drugs and have surgeries with irreversible complications if they merely claim to have a ‘gender identity’ different from their biological sex.”

There's also the Call for Comments to META's Oversight Board. Please take action on this!
Here's the link to the public comment portal: https://www.oversightboard.com/pc/gender-identity-debate-videos/
Comments are due by Sept. 12th.
The issues are: posts regarding gender identity and whether these are "transphobia" or hate speech/bullying/harassing, specifically with respect to 1) biological males in women's restrooms, and 2) biological boy in girls' sports. The Oversight Board is considering whether protesting such practices is "hate speech" or "bullying" and "harassing".
As though advancing women and girls' rights is inherently hateful. ... what an odd world.
"Such interventions are more like a human experiment that borders on child abuse." That border was crossed long ago. Big Trans is not "like" a human experiment, it is a human experiment led by Mengeles committing child abuse and destroying families.
