Accelerating the Women's Liberation Movement in San Francisco
Trantifa tried to stop us. They failed.

It’s hard for me to believe, but the WDI USA 2023 Convention, “Accelerating the Women’s Liberation Movement” is over. As I reported on Saturday morning, we knew that we were in for a day of protests by a bunch of men (and a few women) who really don’t think that women should be able to gather to talk about our rights, and we were ready for them. But notwithstanding the trantifa misogynist authoritarians, we’re happy to report that we succeeded in accelerating the women’s movement.
After the convention wrapped up on Sunday, we prepared for a day of nonviolent direct action at City Hall on Monday, and we were ready for protests there too.
Monday was a beautiful day to stand up for the rights of lesbians, and unfortunately a bunch of lesbian-hating, woman-hating authoritarians came to try to shut us down. They failed.
